Down the interstate from Goldens Bridge

Goldens Bridge sits in the western part of the Town of Lewisboro, right beside I-684, and that makes the trip to Bellava a quick one. Join the interstate southbound from Route 138, then follow the Saw Mill River Parkway to the Route 117 bypass: a little over four miles to 182 Route 117 Bypass Road in Bedford Hills, roughly eight minutes without traffic.

From first call to surgery date

If you have never been to a plastic surgeon, the process can feel opaque. Here is how it runs at Bellava.

  1. The first conversation. For most people that is with our patient coordinator, Natalie Palais, who answers questions about a procedure, explains what a visit involves and books your consultation.
  2. The consultation. You meet Dr. Kim himself. He listens to what you want to change, examines you and recommends the procedure that would actually achieve it — or tells you honestly that surgery is not the right step. It is free and private.
  3. Your plan. If you go ahead, you leave with a plan built around your anatomy and goals. Payment options, including financing, are explained along the way.
  4. Surgery day. The operation takes place in Bellava’s own surgical suite, accredited by The Joint Commission. Tummy tucks and facelifts, among others, are outpatient procedures here, so you go home the same day.
  5. Aftercare. Every follow-up is back in the same building with Dr. Kim’s own team, a short run down the interstate from home.

Your surgeon

Chang Soo Kim, MD, is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He graduated from the Yale School of Medicine and did his plastic surgery residency at Yale–New Haven Hospital. He was also among the first to bring the Sciton Joule laser system to Connecticut, and he combines laser and radiofrequency platforms with traditional surgery to give patients more ways to reach their goal.

What Goldens Bridge patients come for

Non-surgical care — injectables, CoolSculpting and skin treatments — is offered in the same building.

Goldens Bridge patients ask

What hours can I come in? Weekdays from 9 am, until 7 pm on Mondays and Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.

Can I have two procedures at once? Sometimes. Combining means a single recovery, but Dr. Kim decides whether it is safe once he has reviewed your health history.

Where can I see his results? In Bellava’s before and after gallery, which shows Dr. Kim’s own patients.
