Microneedling for Goldens Bridge, NY
New collagen for scars, pores and uneven texture, from medical estheticians about eight minutes south of Goldens Bridge.

Depth is the dial
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, uses surgical-grade titanium or steel needles to open microscopic channels in the skin. Your body treats them as something to repair and lays down fresh collagen and elastin, which is what firms and smooths the skin over the following months. How deep those channels go makes all the difference. Bellava’s pens can be set anywhere from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm, so a delicate area and a stubborn scar are not treated alike, and the depth is chosen for you at your consultation. Very sensitive skin may not tolerate the longer settings, which is one more reason that choice is made carefully.
Not only for the face
Most people think of microneedling for facial lines, enlarged pores and acne scarring, but its list of uses is longer:
- Stretch marks, particularly those left by pregnancy
- Scars from surgery or an injury, not only from acne
- Sun damage, dark spots and uneven tone
- Loosening skin around the eyes, the mouth and the jawline
Below the jaw, the neck, décolletage, hands, arms, abdomen, buttocks and thighs are all areas Bellava’s estheticians treat.
What it pairs well with
Because the fresh channels let products reach deeper, a session can finish with nourishing serums, hyaluronic acid or PRP, the platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood. Microneedling also fits into a longer plan alongside light chemical peels, laser resurfacing such as fractional CO2 skin rejuvenation, and injectables from Bellava’s injector team, so skin quality, lines and volume can be treated in a sensible order. Vivace, which adds radiofrequency energy to the needles, is offered as well.
The visit and the week after
After a skin analysis, a topical numbing cream is applied, and most patients feel little or no pain. The treatment itself lasts 30 to 60 minutes depending on the area, and a calming serum or mask ends the visit. Redness lasts 12 to 48 hours. Through the rest of the week the skin may feel dry and flake as the damaged surface sheds; let it come away on its own rather than picking at it. Drinking plenty of water and eating foods rich in antioxidants and protein help the skin rebuild, and once it has healed, collagen-supporting products such as retinol, vitamin C serum and peptides can go back into your routine. Lasers, peels and waxing on the treated skin should wait.
Your treatment is carried out by Bellava’s licensed medical estheticians, Semira Crecco-Donnelly and Natalina McEwan, in Bedford Hills, a little over four miles from Goldens Bridge by I-684 and the Saw Mill River Parkway, roughly eight minutes without traffic.
