The Body You’ve Dreamed Of Awaits with CoolSculpting®
CoolSculpting works by zeroing in on fat cells below the skin through a special freezing process. The treatment involves using a special applicator across the skin that will cool excess fat cells and cause them to eventually break down. Afterward, the body’s natural processes will dispel fat cells from the body over the next few months. A single CoolSculpting treatment can deliver a more beautiful, contoured appearance. (An average of 20-30% of fat loss can be expected per treated area.)
Reduces the appearance of love handles, muffin top, tummy pooch, bra roll and flanks
Creates a more contoured appearance
FDA-approved, safe and effective
Goals can often be accomplished with just 1 treatment
Preliminary results can be seen as quickly as 3 weeks and final results can be seen after 2 months
How do I know if CoolSculpting® is right for me?
Good candidates are people with noticeable bulges of fat in problem areas.
How is CoolSculpting® different from laser liposuction procedures such as Sciton Laser Lipo, SlimLipo, and Smart Lipo?
CoolSculpting is not a weight loss solution for those who are obese, nor is it a substitute for laser lipo, surgical fat removal or skin tightening such as a tummy tuck. During a complimentary consultation at Bellava, it can be determined if you are a good candidate and work to determine the best treatment plan during a one-on-one consultation.
How long is each CoolSculpting® treatment?
During your consultation, it will be discussed how much time should be allotted based on your needs. Typical CoolSculpting treatments last between 1-3 hours.
Is CoolSculpting safe?®
CoolSculpting is cleared for the flanks and abdomen by the FDA and is proven to be a safe and effective treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Typically patients see a noticeable difference in fat reduction in the treated area after 1 visit but you may achieve even more fat reduction with several treatments.
What happens during the CoolSculpting® treatment?
The device will be placed on the body so that the unwanted bulge is drawn up between 2 cooling panels. The sensation is a firm pull and pressure–enough of a pull to ensure the selected tissue will be cooled most efficiently. An hour or so later, you’re done. Most people read, work on their laptop or take a nap during treatment.
When can I return to my normal activities?
Typically you can return to your activities immediately after a CoolSculpting procedure, although you may experience some minor tingling or numbness. This is temporary and will resolve quickly.
When will I see results?
You may start to see results as quickly as 3 weeks after your treatment and will experience the more dramatic results after 2 months. Your body will still flush out fat cells and continues doing so for up to 4-6 weeks after treatment.
Are the results permanent?
When you have your CoolSculpting treatment, the affected cells will be killed. As long as you maintain your weight with a normal diet, your long-term results should remain stable.
