Microneedling for Mount Kisco, NY
Collagen induction for the face, neck and body, adjusted area by area, at Bellava about nine minutes from Mount Kisco.

The pen and its settings
Bellava performs microneedling with advanced pens fitted with surgical-grade titanium or steel needles. Three things are set for each area: needle length, anywhere from 0.25 mm to 2.5 mm, along with speed and pressure. Your provider adjusts them for the part of the body being treated and for how your skin responds as the session goes on, and that control over depth is what keeps the treatment both safe and effective.
Not only for the face
Microneedling is best known as a facial treatment, but the same collagen response can be put to work elsewhere. It is used for:
- stretch marks, particularly after pregnancy
- acne scars and surgical scars
- enlarged pores, fine lines and crow’s feet
- sun damage, discoloration and uneven tone
- skin that has started to slacken around the eyes, mouth and jaw
Besides the face, the neck, décolletage, hands, arms, abdomen, buttocks and thighs can all be treated.
Pairing it with other treatments
Microneedling combines well with much of what Bellava offers:
- PRP, platelet-rich plasma from your own blood, applied during the session to push collagen renewal further
- Vivace, which adds radiofrequency energy to the microneedling
- Chemical peels, a light peel before or after to help active ingredients penetrate
- Botox and dermal fillers, with microneedling scheduled before the injectables to get the most from them
- Laser resurfacing afterwards, such as fractional CO2 skin rejuvenation, to stimulate collagen further
Bellava’s licensed medical estheticians, Semira Crecco-Donnelly and Natalina McEwan, perform microneedling, Vivace and PRP microneedling.
Looking after the result
New collagen keeps forming for months after each session, and what you do at home affects it. For the first few days, skip makeup, exfoliants and hot showers, and hold off on waxing, peels and laser treatments. Stay out of direct sun for at least 48 hours, and protect your skin carefully while new collagen is forming. Drinking enough water and eating protein- and antioxidant-rich food supports the repair, and once the skin has fully healed, products with retinol, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid or peptides help keep collagen building.
The redness lasts 12 to 48 hours. Bellava is about four miles from Mount Kisco, roughly nine minutes without traffic by the Saw Mill River Parkway and Route 117, and a Saturday appointment between 10 am and 2 pm gives your skin the rest of the weekend to calm down.
Mount Kisco patients ask
Does it hurt? A numbing cream goes on first, and most patients feel little or no pain.
How soon will I notice anything? Within about two weeks, as fresh collagen starts to firm and smooth the skin. The improvement keeps building over a course of sessions.
How many sessions will I need? Bellava suggests three to six, spaced four to six weeks apart, then a maintenance session every six to twelve months.
