Dr. Kim Laser Skin Peel:
Dr. Chang Soo Kim, MD is one of the few doctors in Westchester to perform the laser skin peel. Carried out with the Palomar 2940 laser hand piece, the laser skin peel is used to treat deep wrinkles and tighten skin. Dr. Kim performs two passes first with the 1540 laser, which preps the skin so he can use the 2940 hand piece more aggressively with better results. The laser skin peel is generally accomplished with just one treatment, although older skin may require a second or third treatment. This is a great procedure on its own or combined with any of the facelift techniques, as it will dramatically improve the quality of the skin.
During his career as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Kim has performed many facelifts. In addition, he is an instructor for Pallette Resources, an education program that trains clinicians on the latest techniques using injectables such Botox® and dermal fillers. This background has paved the way for him to perform the laser skin peel with excellent aesthetic results.
